Director & Responsible Manager

Simon has over 25 years of experience in the real estate finance industry. Commencing his career in credit risk at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Simon’s determination to succeed drove him to establish Checkpoint Finance Group in 2002. In 2017, Simon founded Vado Private and is a Responsible Manager under Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL 526189).

Simon holds a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) and Master’s in commerce (Finance). He also holds a RG146 Certificate, Diploma in Mortgage Broking & Management and Diploma in Business Management (Real Estate). Simon takes a vested interest in keeping abreast of market trends, legislative changes, and lending criteria to provide solutions that will help clients meet their property investment and development objectives.

Outside of work, Simon enjoys spending time with his young family, motor racing and is a car enthusiast.
